Electrical installation design and reports

Diagnosis of your network, a properly sized design and the Electrical Installations Record that NR-10 requires above 75 kW.

Objective, standards and obligation

  • Objective

To assess the technical condition of the electrical network and identify risks of overload, short circuit or electric shock. The service provides diagnostics for optimising the network and prepares the Electrical Installations Record (PIE, Prontuário das Instalações Elétricas).

  • Applicable standards

NR-10 (Safety in Electrical Installations and Services), ABNT NBR 5410 (Low-Voltage Electrical Installations) and ABNT NBR 14039 (Medium Voltage).

  • Mandatory by law

Establishments with an installed capacity above 75 kW must keep the Electrical Installations Record (PIE) and the compliance report up to date (NR-10). The report is also required by the fire department (Corpo de Bombeiros) for the ARCB fire safety certificate (Sergipe's AVCB), and by insurers for accident cover.

Questions about electrical design and reports

What clients ask us most before ordering a report.

What is the PIE?

The Electrical Installations Record (Prontuário das Instalações Elétricas): documentation required by NR-10 for establishments with an installed capacity above 75 kW, kept up to date together with the compliance report.

Who requires the electrical report?

NR-10, the fire department (for the ARCB, Sergipe's AVCB) and insurers, for accident cover.

Do you do new designs and also reports on existing installations?

Both: a properly sized design, and an assessment of the existing installation with a diagnosis of overload, short circuit and shock risk.

Do you cover medium voltage?

Yes, under ABNT NBR 14039; low voltage under NBR 5410.
